The Tech Team was originally formed in 2002 as an official UK Hotel Team to help Habbo's with all things techy. The team consisted of Hobbas who helped when you had been keylogged, they answered your calls for help and talked you through removing the logger, but they were also there to fish your furni out of the walls when your room had been trashed and assist with all other matters tech related.  They also advised on internet security and safety, for example: keeping your anti-virus software up to date, installing a firewall, safe practices using instant messaging and password safety.  If it was tech related then you needed a member of the Hobba Tech Team.

When the Hobba program was suspended in December 2005 the Tech Team was re-formed by Floyd and has now opened membership to anyone interested.
